Welcome

What Is Smoothfoam?

Smoothfoam is our brand name for molded EPS or Expandable Polystyrene.  It is a smooth, closed cell foam.  It is molded from tiny beads into many shapes like balls, bells, eggs, miniature fruit shapes and more. Because of its smooth surface it is excellent for painting.  It is also very durable, making it great for projects requiring pins or glue.

We are proud to have our Smoothfoam shapes as a featured Easter craft in the April 2007 Issue of Martha Stewart Living.  If you would like to see the article online click here.  One note of clarification: They incorrectly referred to the eggs as Styrofoam, which they were not.  They used our 1", 2", 3", 4", 4 3/4" and 5 1/2" Smoothfoam Eggs.
